My name is Jack David Dumala, a designer, an artist, an educator, and a craftsman based in western Massachusetts. While my educational background is industrial design from RISD and human development from UConn, my origin of work is in fine art and working for my family’s concrete manufacturing company. It was my father who originally taught me business management skills and how to weld objects for the home. Having the foundations of business management, design, and fine arts engrained within my career path has helped distinguish me as a creative entrepreneur.

In July 2024, I cofounded J2 Living Co. with my partner James Palmier. We design and fabricate bespoke furniture that helps promote farm-to-table living. A country boy at heart, I aim to share how outdoor gardening, owning chickens, and intentionally designed furniture can be married to one another to create a self-sufficient home infrastructure.
